About the wine
Platinum Xinomavro comes from selected vineyards of Naoussa. The selective harvest of grapes in combination with the ageing in the oak barrels enhanced the rich aromas of this fine wine.

Classic red vinification, aimed at promoting complex aromas. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Maximum temperature, towards the end of fermentation, is 28 - 30°C. Maceration lasts 6-8 days, with the gentlest possible pumpovers. The wine is racked in barrels after malolactic fermentation (indigenous, non-commercial strains).
18 months in barrel and 6 months in bottle.

Bouquet / Palate
Deep red color with strong details. Typical bouquet of red fruit, cinnamon and woody aromas. Shaking the wine, the aromas of vanilla, tomato, olive and chocolate become noticeable. Full of wine with a rich body, soft with an aftertaste of black fruit and toned tannins.
